My fitness journey began when I was 10 years old as a gymnast. I competed nationally and internationally for eight years. However, knowing that I couldn’t be a gymnast forever, I turned my passion towards golf and became a pro golfer.

My passion for golf developed unexpectedly while working as a bartender at a golf course. Having spent my childhood involved in gymnastics, I found a new love in golf.

I pursued my education at Lethbridge Community College, where I completed the Professional Golf Management course in 2005. Over a decade of analyzing body motion in the golf swing, I came to realize that my students’ performance could significantly improve with enhanced fitness.

After completing my college education, I began an apprenticeship at the Calgary Golf and Country Club. Over the course of twenty years dedicated to teaching, I have also developed a passion for fitness, instructing in this field for the last six years. My commitment to fitness education led me to earn a personal training certificate from Free Form Fitness in Ottawa.

My career began in Calgary before relocating to North Bay, where I collaborated with my parents to establish an indoor golf center. During my time there, I offered various programs for golfers of all ages. After three years, I made the decision to move to Ottawa and join the Ottawa Hunt Club as an assistant professional. It was at this club where I initiated the girls and boys club. However, I eventually realized my true passion lies in teaching, prompting me to focus solely on instructing. Subsequently, I spent numerous years teaching at the OAC before finding my current position at Camelot Golf & Country Club.

Seeing my students excel and take pleasure in golf brings me tremendous satisfaction. For the past six years, I’ve been committed to enhancing their performance by integrating tailored fitness routines designed specifically for golf.
